Upcoming Availability

Declared Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors!!!

With Advising Holds being placed, I need for all of you to stay out of my appointment slots for the next month or so (with the exception of probation students). As you well remember, I need to meet with all my freshmen students and any other undeclared sophomores. If you need assistance, make use of my office hours or email me and we can plan for alternative ways to meet. Please be aware that I am out of the office much of next week.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

Juniors and Seniors!

Just a reminder that the deadline to change an elective course to Pass/No Pass is tomorrow!

Checklist of Items for each Class!

So I thought it would be a good time to give all of you an idea of some things you should be doing before we hit Spring Break here in a couple of weeks:

Seniors: Look at your DegreeMAP audit NOW!!! If you see any issue, you need to contact me sooner than later. Also be on the lookout for the Commencement Fair where you buy your cap and gown. Oh yeah, and try to enjoy these last months of your undergrad career!!!

Juniors: You, too, should be checking out DegreeMAP. Start planning those last credits. Registration for Fall is in April, and shortly after I will invite you to come meet with me to make sure your Senior year is smooth. And if you’re thinking about graduate school? Go talk with our graduate school advisor Shonda now!

Sophomores: Have you declared yet?!? If not, do it NOW! Also make sure you know the deadlines for applying to Study Abroad if that is your plan next year. And now is as good a time as any to start thinking about a summer class or internship!

Freshmen: Start getting on my calendar to discuss classes for Fall. Another thing to make sure you’ve done is get any college or AP credit you’ve earned posted to your transcript! Don’t miss out on the chance to register earlier, plus I don’t want to have to track this down for you three years from now…

As always, let me know if you have questions!

Class of 2013!

AKA: Rising seniors, current juniors, anyone planning to graduate this coming Fall or next Spring

I would like to meet with you BEFORE the end of the semester to go over the courses you have registered for Fall 2012, forecast the courses you will need for Spring 2013, and basically try to make your upcoming senior year as stress-free as I possibly can. Some of you have been proactive and already met with me; the rest of you I encourage to call the front desk and schedule an appointment at your earliest convenience.
